Coleosporium plumeriae Pat.

Description
Uredinia on lower leaf surface, and upper leaf surface in heavy infections, subepidermal, erumpent, confluent or round, 100 µm, yellow.

Urediniospores subglobose, cylindrical, obovoid or oval, apex obtuse, subhyaline to yellow (when fresh), 25‒37 × 15‒22 µm; wall 1.5‒2.5 µm thick, verruculose.

Telia on lower leaf surface, erumpent, linear, 1 mm, orange, waxy.

Teliospores cylindrical, apex rounded, hyaline to yellow (when fresh), 75‒86 × 20‒33 µm; wall 0.1‒0.5 µm thick, smooth, arranged in adherent crusts, pedicel is deciduous and detaches or breaks.

Basidia cylindrical 4-celled, with a basal cell, hyaline, 25‒34 × 16‒21 µm.

Basidiospores globose, 19‒22 × 21‒28 µm.
