Puccinia cnici Mart.

Description
Uredinia on leaves, mostly on adaxial surface, on chlorotic spots up to 4 mm diam., erumpent, bullate, round, surrounded by torn epidermis, up to 0.5 mm diam., reddish brown.

Urediniospores ellipsoidal, globose or subglobose, apex obtuse, yellowish brown, 25‒32 × 22‒27 µm; wall 2.5‒3.5 µm thick, echinulate with spines about 1 µm high and spaced 3‒5 µm apart, (2‒)3(‒4) germ pores, equatorial or almost so with conspicuous thickened caps.
