Puccinia evadens Harkn.

Description
Uredinia on leaves, amphigenous, mostly abaxial, subepidermal, erumpent, round, up to 0.5 mm, scattered, yellow.

Urediniospores subglobose, obovoid, ellipsoidal or fusiform, often with a truncate base up to 10 µm wide, hyaline or yellow, 32‒54 × 21‒29 µm; wall 1.0‒2.5 µm thick, sparsely echinulate to sparsely verruculose.

Telia on leaves, abaxial, subepidermal, pulvinate, up to 150 µm diam., brown, often with a greyish bloom from germinating teliospores.

Teliospores cylindrical or narrowly obovoid, apex rounded or umbonate, yellowish brown to pale brown, 60‒86 × 27‒35 µm; wall 1‒2 µm thick, thickened at apex, smooth, 2 celled, constricted at septum, pore apical in upper cell and next to septum in lower cell; pedicel detaches or breaks.

Basidiospores globose, 12‒15 µm diam., hyaline.
