Puccinia scirpi DC.

Description
Spermogonia on bullate spots on upper surface of leaves of Nymphoides indica, scattered, mostly near the centre, subcuticular.

Spermatia globose, subglobose to cylindrical, hyaline, 4‒5 µm × 2‒3 µm.

Aecia on upper leaf surface, surrounding spermogonia, scattered or in concentric rings, yellow, peridial cells 24‒35 × 16‒28 µm; wall 2‒5 μm thick, hyaline, irregularly polyhedral, outer surface densely and coarsely verrucose, inner surface densely and finely verruculose.

Aeciospores subglobose to polygonal, polyangular or irregular, yellow, 20‒25 × 16‒19 µm; wall 1‒1.5 µm thick, finely verruculose, with 4‒5 inconspicuous germ pores.
