Puccinia unica var. bottomleyae (Doidge) Cummins & S.M. Husain.

Description
Uredinia on leaves, mostly on adaxial surface, erumpent, up to 0.5 mm long, dark brown; paraphyses intrasoral, capitate, hyaline to pale brown, up to 7 µm thick apically.

Urediniospores broadly subglobose or ellipsoidal, yellowish brown, 25‒31 × 19‒29 µm; wall 1.5‒3.0 µm thick, apex unthickened, densely and finely echinulate, with 8‒14 scattered germ pores.

Telia on leaves, mostly on adaxial surface, brown to black.

Teliospores broadly ellipsoid, reddish brown, 28‒36 × 19‒25 µm, 2 celled; wall 2‒4 µm thick at sides, 4‒9 µm thick at apex, smooth; pedicel persistent, hyaline to pale brown; paraphyses same as those in uredinia.
