Comments
Uredo geitonoplesii was described on Geitonoplesium cymosum from Victoria by McAlpine (1906). Molecular phylogenetic analysis indicated it was closely related to other rusts on hosts in the Hemerocallidaceae, such as Uredo dianellae on Dianella spp. and Puccinia hemerocallidis on Hemerocallis spp. (unpublished).
