Uredopeltis chevalieri J. Walker & R.G. Shivas

Description

Uredinia on both leaf surfaces, subepidermal, erumpent, round, up to 1000 µm, pale yellow to yellowish brown, paraphyses present, peripheral, clavate, subhyaline, up to 50 µm long × 10‒12 µm wide at apex, 5‒6 µm wide at sides; wall 2‒3 µm thick.

Urediniospores ellipsoidal or obovoid, yellowish brown, 17‒22 × 22‒33 µm; wall 1‒1.5 µm thick, verruculose, with 4‒5 equatorial germ pores.

Telia on lower leaf surface, subepidermal, erumpent, dome-shaped, black.

Teliospores cylindrical, apex rounded, hyaline, subhyaline to yellowish brown, 10‒15 × 15‒23 µm; wall 2‒2.5 µm thick, smooth, in adherent crusts, not strictly in vertical rows.
