Description
Uredinia on both leaf surfaces, scattered or aggregated in groups on chlorotic spots, subepidermal, erumpent, round, up to 1 mm diam., reddish brown.

Urediniospores subglobose, reddish brown, 16‒27 × 16‒21 µm; wall 1.0‒2.5 µm thick, minutely echinulate, often appearing smooth in profile, 5-8 germ scattered germ pores.
