Comments
Walker (2010) recognized four rusts on Geraniaceae in Australia and reported U. geranii from a collection made in 1917. Uromyces geranii occurs in Australia on native and introduced Geranium spp. The urediniospores of U. geranii have a single germ pore and the teliospores are single celled.
