Uromyces wedeliae Henn.

Description

Uredinia on stems and both leaf surfaces, subepidermal, erumpent, round or irregular, up to 1000 µm, reddish brown.

Urediniospores cylindrical or ellipsoidal, reddish brown, 31‒36 × 23‒27 µm; wall 2.5‒3 µm thick, echinulate, with 1 scattered or equatorial germ pore.

Telia on stems and both leaf surfaces, subepidermal, linear to dome-shaped, up to 1000 µm, reddish brown.

Teliospores subglobose or ellipsoidal, apex papillate, yellowish brown, 31‒37 × 23‒29 µm; wall 1‒2 µm thick at sides, 8‒14 µm thick at apex, smooth, with a single pedicel, up to 14 µm.
