Uromycladium tepperianum (Sacc.) McAlpine

Description
Spermogonia on phyllodes (amphigenous), stems and pods, may form galls and blisters, erumpent, hemispherical, ca. 150 µm diam.

Spermatia globose, ellipsoidal or obovoid, hyaline, 3‒7 × 3‒4 µm.

Telia on phyllodes (amphigenous), stems and pods, may form galls up to 30 cm diam., erumpent from tissue below and around spermogonia, reddish brown.

Teliospores globose or subglobose, often dorsally compressed, reddish brown, 16‒24 × 14‒17 µm; wall 1.5‒3.5 µm thick, slightly thickened at apex, striate, striae converge towards apex, with 1 apical germ pore, pedicel persistent, formed in groups of three on branched pedicels; pedicel septate, deciduous.
