Description
Telia densely crowded on stems and leaves, causing witches' brooms of shoots, subepidermal, erumpent, cupulate, 100‒200 µm diam., reddish brown, peridium present.
Teliospores extruded in firmly united columns 1-2 mm long and 100-200 µm diam., pale yellowish to reddish brown, clavate to irregular, 29‒61 × 12‒18 µm; wall 1-1.5 µm thick, smooth.

Ceratocoma jacksoniae is only known from the Australian legume tribe Mirbelieae. This group comprises red and yellow flowered scleromorphic shrubs that occur mostly in the south-west and south-east of Australia. |
