Sporisorium lingii Vánky


Sori as in S. exsertum, comprising the entire racemes, cylindrical, with a single central branched columella.

Spores larger, 8–12 × 7.5–10.0 µm.

Sterile cells larger than the spores, 12-25 µm long, in chains or in irregular groups.

Sporisorium lingii and S. exsertum are similar in that both have sori that occupy the entire racemes and have single, branched columellae. However, the spores of S. lingii are larger.
